Chris Martens has a review of the X1 IEM over on HiFiplus.com. It’s a nice IEM, very light and compact with a pleasant sound signature. I purchased one as part of Echobox’s Kickstarter campaign for ~$79. If memory serves me. The current listed price is $199 which I think is a challenge since there are so many great hybrids in the sub-$150 range.

Echobox Finder X1 Review
Mark2410 has posted a review of the Echobox Finder X1 IEM on Head-Fi. He liked the X1 and expects it to be one of his reference IEMs for reviews. I purchased one as part of the Explorer X1 DAP Kickstarter. The Finder was ~$70 and came with 3 months of free Tidal so basically it was nearly free. I agreed with Mark2410’s conclusions but I would add that for me the Finder is very comfortable.
Review of the Echobox Finder X1 IEM
Dsnuts has posted a very nice review of the Echobox IEM – Finder X1 on Head-Fi. Dsnuts found that the X1 is very transparent and requires the wearer to listen to music at a moderate level or the inherent transparency can become fatiguing.
Review of the Echobox Finder X1
Nathan posted a review on Headfonia of the Echobox Finder with various detailed comparisons to the Grado GR10. There is also a post on Head-Fi comparing them to the Monster Miles Davis Trumpet IEM which I personally love. Actually, I loved these so much I purchased several of the Trumpets. Looking at their website it appears that Echobox will be launching their new DAP and X1 via IndieGoGo on Monday. No pricing but I would expect them to be well under $300 and likely around $100 but you never know.
